One of the most common questions we get after each Digital Photographic Competition is, “Why don’t my images look the same on the competition monitor as they do on my computer monitor(s)?”
When working on and viewing images on multiple displays, it all comes down to consistency. In the computer and photographic worlds, this is referred to Color Calibration or Digital Display Calibration.
While this may sound daunting, rest assured you can conquer the color calibration issue!
To make things easy, PPA has put together a ten minute video that covers the basics. The video explains PPA’s calibration and color space suggestions, the same info it uses to manage its own Digital Photographic Competitions.
